Sproutcore 1.0 is a HTML 5 application framework used for cloud applications. What makes Sproutcore different then other cloud based applications is that it relies on your client (browser) to do most of the processing power of your application instead of the server. Social Engine relies on php, which uses a lot of resources on your server.
